# ChordRunner > ChordRunner is a browser game that teaches piano and guitar chords: a chord appears on screen, you play it on a real instrument, and your runner jumps. ChordRunner is a music learning game released in April 2026 that runs in the browser on computer, phone or tablet, with nothing to install. You control it with a real instrument: a USB MIDI keyboard (detected automatically), or an acoustic piano or guitar through the microphone. It trains chords from major triads to 13th chords in all 12 keys, sight reading on a real staff, ear training, and chord progressions, and it has real-time multiplayer matches against other musicians. ## Key facts - Released: April 2026 - Platforms: Web browser (Chrome or Edge) on computer, phone or tablet.
