If C# does not sound clean
- For a clean C#, press firmly but close to the metal fret wire.
- If a note is dead, a finger is lying on it. Curve the fingers more.
- Hurts at first? Normal. Five minutes a day toughens the fingertips in a couple of weeks.

From C# to C#m only one thing changes: 2nd string (B): fret 6 → fret 5.
A short C# routine
- Place the fingers one at a time, then strum and listen to each string.
- Lift the hand, then land all fingers together. Repeat ten times.
- Change from C# to F# and back for a minute; then add G#.
