Is Gm7 easy on guitar?
It is a barre chord at fret 3, so it takes a little more strength at first. Start slowly, check that every string rings, then practise switching to Gm.
What is the difference between Gm7 and Gm on guitar?
Gm7 adds one note to Gm: F, on top of G Bb D. From Gm to Gm7: 4th string (D): fret 5 → fret 3.
Which fingers do I use for Gm7?
Index finger: across the strings (barre), fret 3, ring finger: 5th string (A), fret 5.
Can I practise Gm7 with a microphone or MIDI keyboard?
Both work in ChordRunner. The microphone hears an acoustic or electric guitar; a USB MIDI keyboard is detected automatically. Either way G, Bb, D, F must sound together.
Your instrument is the controller.
ChordRunner is a browser game that teaches piano and guitar chords: a chord appears on screen, you play it on a real instrument, and your runner jumps. MIDI keyboard or microphone, both work.
