Make A6 automatic

  1. Say the notes out loud while you press them: A, C#, E and F#.
  2. Switch between A and A6 ten times without looking at your hand.
  3. Try A6 in 1st inversion, the position that sits closest to your last chord.
  4. Then test it in random order among other chords: recall under time pressure is what sticks.

Keep each session short and frequent and A6 will become automatic.
